The Aces are the leaders in Beatrice. The Kings are the Founding Fathers. The Queens are the leading ladies of Beatrice. The Jacks are the entertainers and politicians. The Jokers are Harold Lloyd and the Beatrice Fire Department. The other numbered cards are various buildings and businesses throughout Beatrice in those early years. Dempster Windmill — This replica of a 1922 Dempster windmill is perfect for a desktop or even outside on the patio. This windmill was been made in Nebraska since 1946. The windmill wheel and its tail move with the direction of the wind. The overall size is 17” and the wheel is 5” with bronze bearing. The galvanized steel is made with lifetime materials. This wagon wheel design was the first logo of the Gage County Historical Society and represents the hearty settlers who made the Beatrice area their home.
